Dionysos Hotel

Lovely hotel very friendly staff and lovely surroundings. Nice gardens really big pool which was seawater and a smaller one which was normal. We stayed for bed and breakfast which was plentiful and a very good selection hot food could have been a bit hotter. Only thing about the room we had a kitchenette but no kettle to make a cup of tea. So had to use a saucepan to boil some water. There wasn't enough to do at night in the area as we like to walk and mouch about in shops. But apart from that we would recommend the hotel

So far it’s welcoming was great.Helpfully presented.The overall the area and the location and the look of the hotel is amazing.Rooms are a bit small.I like to add my experience for the spa package.For 3 hours of spa treatment (Cleopatra)I has blast. For Turkish bath with luxuriousdetails of scrubbing and relaxing bubbles,Follow by relaxation massage with care and follow up with Cleopatra facial that you are feeling greatest ever. People at spa so friendly Zoe, Eliea and Debbie are professional team together.I will recommend highly for all this is €230 it’s fantastic. Great job Girls. 🙋‍♀️👍👏

The rooms are very noisy, I heard the neighbors from all sides and the music from the hotel next door.. Things are broken and if you note this to reception they will send someone at some time. Even though you have paid for the room and you are still in it.Also the plumbing stinks.I have had 9 terrible nights.The pool and the breakfast are nice though.

We decided this year to stay a little outside of Rhodes Town and picked the Dionysos in Ixia. Sadly the area of Ixia itself isn't great as there isn't too much there but the hotel definitely makes up for it.I'll start with the rooms- we were in a double room with garden view balcony. I would describe some of the rooms as a little dated in decor but modern with all the fixtures you could need such as a fridge and coffee making facilities - perfect for travelling with a little one! We requested a travel cot which was provided at no extra cost and it looked brand new, the cot was also made before we arrived with matching bedding and an infant pillow should we need it. The aircon was included in the price but the safe cost us to use (around 16 euros for the week).We were only bed and breakfast but the hotel does have 3 restaurants on site and 2 snack bars. The breakfast was a continental style with hot and cold options plenty too choose from even for picky eaters.The food from the restaurants in the evening was stunning and I would highly recommend the grilled pork chop and the sea bream fillet both from the poolside restaurant. The main grill restaurant does have a dress code but does have an additional seating area for those who wish to dine but didn't know about the dress code.The snack bars are great for a light afternoon lunch and again the food is tasty and fresh.Cocktails and refreshments are tasty, well priced and large 😍. Wasn't dissatisfied with the food or drinks .The pools are kept clean and there are plenty of sunbeds to go around, we went to the pool at different times every day and didn't struggle to find somewhere.What really makes this hotel though is the staff, what a credit to the owners 👏. As with all greek people nothing is too much but the staff here go above and beyond. This was our first family holiday and they helped make it so special. Our little girl was never ignored, always greeted and interacted with and it was just an amazing experience from start to finish! We would personally like to thank all the staff who work incredibly hard all season but a few who have a special place in our hearts are, Poppy and Margarita (housekeeping) Giannis (Bell hop), Stella and Katerina (pool bar) and all the ladies on reception. We are talking to Rhea everyday in Greek as promised and we can't thank you enough for your hospitality and kindness! We miss you already! Efcharistó x

Rooms are a little bit dated but they are clean and fully functional. The pool is amazing and so are the little touches like the souvlaki grill so you can grab a gyros at lunchtime instead of leaving the pool area.Swim up bar does the best daquiris ice ever tasted
