Evita Resort Hotel

Nice hotel with good location. Nice food, kind service. Just one thing: room service just enters the room without knocking, you walk naked in your room and they just walk in.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!This has been the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel - upon arrival we were told there were issues with the hotel room and we were being sent to a sister hotel which was apparently like for like. However, when we got there it was not all Inclusive they said they would make us food when we wanted free of charge however the menu was extremely limited and the staff were not accommodating to the extent of all inclusive there was hardly ever anyone on the bar and we often had to go out to buy food and drinks - which is not what we paid for. Also, there was no entertainment. The hotel did offer us free taxis back to the hotel to have the all inclusive there however this was a massive inconvenience and when we did get there all the sunbeds were taken. The hotel were nothing but rude when we expressed how disappointed we were and offered no help to us in trying to get a room in the hotel that we paid for.Just to add there was quite clearly no issues with the room as the taxi men that were taking us to the hotel and back were all aware of the arrangement and asked no questions as to why the hotel was paying - it was all arranged and known. We also spoke to other visitors and it came to our attention that it was something that happened very often - when we asked the hotel staff she said yes overbooked and when I began to ask more questions she started to change the story and said it was the air con and it was very upsetting to see other guests checking in with no issues and being sent to there hotels room in the hotel.Overall, an awful experience will never go back and would just want to warn everyone before booking on this holiday especially with children as the hotel you are sent to is extremely small with a tiny swimming pool and actually where all the hotel staff reside. There are no activities and I can imagine it would be a huge let down.

We were worried about the reviews before we came but we had no need to be because the staff are lovely and the hotel caters for everyone. The food is excellent and the snack bar is great. Bar staff and animation team are great with kids and the reception could not have been more welcoming. Yes there are points of the hotel that could be better but I would be being picky if I listed them. The main one is the grassed area around the main pool which makes it awkward when going in the pool as your feet can be dirty. I used my sliders and left them by the pool so no real problem. I think people just like to moan.

We are currently staying near this hotel and the loud noise coming from it is unbearable. It's impossible to put the kids to bed with this horrible sound in the background. We love music, however, if they keep changing it every 10 seconds and shout around nonsense in between that makes it unacceptable. It's a nice town but the evenings are a misery for the neighbourhood thanks to Hotel Evita.

Do not recommend !Would think twice before booking this hotel arrived with my partner and we were sent straight away to a different hotel due to the hotel being overbooked - the hotel we were sent to did not have the same facilities and it was overall really disappointing.We also didn’t receive any help from the hotel or who we booked with. If I’m being honest it felt like this happens a lot and they advertise this hotel and then send people to the sister hotels which are less busy and not as often booked, which is disappointing as we paid for what was advertised and what we received was completely different and unexpected.
