Museum of the Tsambika Monastery

Beautiful place. Please visit if you can. The church is unbelievable.

Very beautiful monastery of Panagia with the holy picture of Panagia with little Jesus.

This small museum is located at the side of an amazing church, with centuries-old frescos that blew my mind. The museum has some beautiful gospels and some lovely chalices and banners that are well worth seeing. The lightning was a bit off, in the sense that it was pretty harsh and bright in places while other exhibits were literally in the dark. Even so, it was a welcome break from the crowds outside and it transported us to a different era. The price of admission was a mere 3 euros, so it was well worth it.

A lovely place to take back a memorabilia iteam from your visit at the monastery
