Zorbas tavern gennadi

We must have caught them on a bad day. The food was ok.... although quite possibly the worst stifado we'd had in Greece service was at best sporadic the staff were keen on nipping round the corner to a side table with their mates and they were forgetting to give customers cutlery after serving food that came out at different times and forgetting orders. We only tried it once but we couldn't recommend it 100% we so wanted it to be great as it looked fantastic.

Great atmosphere, typical greek restaurant with friendly staff, greek music and delicious dishes. Food is served in beautifull plates, nice portions and reasonable prices. Highly reccomended!

Second time we visited during our holiday in Gennadi (stayed at gennadi grand resort 😀)We ordered (and would deffinatley recommend the) traditional greek meatballs to start, seabass with grilled veg & the grilled octopus 🐙 for main! And not forgetting the spicy cheese dip just because we watched it during the meal, yum. Service attentive and friendly. We visited last night and had to rebook for our last night of our holiday by recommendation also! 😀Thank you 😊P.s we almost put the jug for the house wine in my handbag as they are very cute 😂

They charge you for bread and water you didn't ask for, which totals additional €4. The service is quite erratic as well, sometimes you'll have a hard time getting someone to notice you. Which is a shame because the food is great. Try risotto with octopus — well worth it. Three stars until the management starts playing by the rules.

Food was good and served quickly.Some of the staff seemed friendly while others seemed to want us to be out as soon as possible.We asked for a sauce three times (after they asked if we needed anything) but was promptly forgotten as soon as they said ok.
