I can’t speak highly enough of this place. We came here because of the good reviews. Boy were they right! A very friendly old lady and (I assume) her daughter runs this place. Constant smile on both of their faces. The food was very good, me and my wife shared a Greek salad for starters, then we each had a souvlaki with French fries, bought a 1.5 liter water, and 2 cups of Greek coffee, and it had only cost 25 euros. Plus at the and they surprised us with two little ice cream bars. The place is located in a square of a cute little village, everybody is smiling. If you want to have an authentic Greek experience without the fluff and over-the-top touristic snobbery, this place is a MUST! You can’t help but the feel as if you are eating at your grandmothers place. Please give it a try, you won’t regret it.Not to mention you are supporting a little family business by doing so.
This was my favourite restaurant in Rhodes. It is an authetic taverna, the food was great and the ladies serving us were really kind and hospitable. It is not a fancy place, but I would definately recommend it to anyone who would like to have a taste of real Greek cuisine.
Mother and daughter duo who make the best traditional food on the island. I have had many stifado's on my travels around Greece and this is by far the best, every bite was heaven. I was gutted I wasn't coming back to try everything on the menu. This duo deserve a medal for staying true to their roots and serving such beautiful Greek food. Even the salad was a true Greek salad not a lettuce leaf in sight.Well worth the travel from ixia, you will not be disappointed.
Very nice family restaurant. Tasty and fresh traditional local food (neither touristy nor sophisticated) in very good prices. Recommended for people who would prefer to avoid places devoted for tourist.
