Accommodation: Comfort and Views 🛌
Rooms at the Atrium Platinum are frequently described as luxurious, spacious, and impeccably clean. Many offer breathtaking sea views from private balconies, providing an ideal spot for relaxation and sunset watching. Guests appreciated the modern amenities and thoughtful touches that contribute to an exceptionally comfortable stay, with beds described as "super comfy." While generally highly praised, one minor observation noted that tiled floors could occasionally lead to echoing sounds from adjacent rooms.
Culinary Delights & Dining Experience 🍽️
The culinary offerings at the resort receive strong positive feedback. Guests found the food in all restaurants to be of good quality, with excellent and available drinks. The breakfast buffet, in particular, is highlighted as a standout feature, described as abundant and tasty, offering a wide array of options to suit all tastes. Some guests highly recommend opting for the all-inclusive package to fully enjoy the dining experience, which also includes excellent dinner options.
Facilities & Amenities 🏊♀️💆♀️
The resort itself is beautifully designed and meticulously maintained. The pool areas are a significant draw, described as great with plenty of sunbeds available, ensuring guests can always find a spot to relax. The presence of a small heated pool alongside several larger pools of varying depths adds to the appeal. The spa facilities are also noted as being "super nice," contributing to the overall luxurious and relaxing atmosphere of the resort.
Location & Accessibility 📍
Situated conveniently, the Atrium Platinum allows for easy exploration of Rhodes Island. The historic Old Town, with its charming cobblestone streets and significant sites, is just a short drive away. Guests also noted the proximity to great local restaurants, such as Valentina's Place for sunset views by the beach and Rodos Gardens for evening entertainment. The option to rent a car at the hotel at a reasonable price further enhances guests' ability to explore the island independently and book excursions with local travel services.
Setting Expectations: A Note on "Luxury" 🤔
While many guests unequivocally describe the Atrium Platinum as a 5-star luxury hotel, with one reviewer stating it's "in the top level in all aspects" compared to other 5-star hotels in Rhodes, it's worth noting a differing perspective. One review suggested that the hotel, while enjoyable, felt more like a "very good 3-star or 4-star hotel," perceiving some elements as "quite tired and not luxurious" compared to what they expected from a "proper 5-star luxury Greek holiday." This indicates that while the service and many amenities are top-notch, guests' personal definitions and expectations of "luxury" may vary. A minor "red flag" for one guest was being asked to pay the full bill upon check-in.
Final Thoughts & Recommendations ✅
The Atrium Platinum Luxury Resort Hotel & Spa generally delivers a professional and highly enjoyable vacation experience. Its strengths lie overwhelmingly in its exceptional staff, diverse and quality dining (especially breakfast), clean and spacious rooms, and well-maintained facilities. The convenient location also adds to its appeal for those wishing to explore Rhodes. Despite minor discrepancies in "luxury" perception for some, the overwhelming sentiment from recent guests is positive, with many expressing a strong desire to return. It stands as a highly recommended choice for couples and families seeking a comfortable and service-oriented stay on Rhodes Island.
Great service with kind and helpful staff in all areas. There was good food in all the restaurants with available and good drinks to accommodate.I’d definitely recommend the all inclusive package for this hotel.
We are enjoying our holiday here but it is not a 5 star hotel and not what we expected based on the reviews. It feels like a very good 3 star or 4 star hotel. Everything is quite tired and not luxurious. Staff are excellent. We have enjoyed our holiday with young children but wouldn’t recommend if actually looking for a proper 5 star luxury Greek holiday (as we were but quickly had to adjust our expectations). Being told to pay the full bill upon check in was a bit of a red flag.
Great hotel which in turn made for a great vacation.I've been in other 5 star hotels in Rhodes, the atrium is in the top level in all aspects - staff are kind and professional, all the premises are. Clean and we'll maintained, spa was super nice , food in the morning is abundant and tasty, room was spacious and bed was super comfy.I forgot some shirts in the hotel and Pauline from guest relations was super helpful with shipping them to me with DHL.REALLY PROFESSIONAL ESTABLISHMENTWe will come back !
My Wife and I just returned from a week-long stay at the Atrium Platinum Luxury Resort Hotel & SpaUpon arrival, we were greeted with a warm welcome by the friendly staff, and they made us feel right at home. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, which set the tone for our entire stay. The room we stayed in was nothing short of luxurious. It was spacious, impeccably clean, and had a breathtaking view of the sea. The modern amenities and thoughtful touches in the room made it exceptionally comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the private balcony where we could relax and watch the sunset. Sometimes the other rooms did echo due to the tiled floor, so you could hear them walking in heels etc. but otherwise the rooms were great. The resort itself is beautifully designed and meticulously maintained. The pools are great, and there are plenty of sunbeds available, so we never had trouble finding a spot to relax by the pool. There is a small heated pool and a few larger pools with different depths. The breakfast buffet was also a highlight, offering a wide array of options to suit all tastes. The staff were really helpful and friendly. What truly sets the Atrium Platinum apart is the exceptional service. The staff members consistently went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as perfect as possible. They were always eager to assist with any requests or provide recommendations for local activities.During our week-long stay, we explored the beautiful city of Rhodes, thanks to the convenient location of the resort. The old town, with its charming cobblestone streets and historic sites, was just a short drive away. Near the hotel there are great restaurants (check out Valentina's Place for sunset views by the beach and Rodos Gardens for some evening football!). Also check out Manos Going travels for excursions (we booked two with them)
We traveled as a couple, a luxurious hotel, clean, very kind staff. Excellent breakfast and dinner. You can rent a car at the hotel at a reasonable price. A large room and a lovely view of the sea. We had a great time and will come back again.
