Bloom Waterpark Watersports, located directly on the picturesque Tsampika beach in Rhodes Island, Greece (Address: Tsampika beach, Rodos 851 02, Greece), offers a unique water-based amusement experience. This establishment operates as an inflatable water park, providing a fun and challenging environment for visitors.

🎢 The Inflatable Course: Fun & Challenges

The core of Bloom Waterpark is its extensive inflatable obstacle course, set directly in the crystal-clear waters of the Aegean Sea. Visitors describe the obstacles as ranging from "pretty simple" to "quite difficult," catering to various skill levels. Key features include monkey bars, exhilarating slides directly into the sea, quite high jumps, and precarious balance beams. Many users, including adults, found the larger "advanced" inflatables to be a genuine physical challenge, even for those who consider themselves good climbers.

Some reviews mention the presence of algae on the underside of the inflatables, which is expected given they are submerged 24/7. A few minor broken sections were also noted, but these reportedly did not detract from the overall enjoyment. The slippery nature of some obstacles adds to the fun and challenge.

⚠️ Safety & Suitability: A Key Consideration

This is where user experiences vary significantly, particularly concerning younger children. While some families with children aged 7 and 10 reported an amazing time, finding the water not too deep and clear for easy supervision, others expressed strong concerns about safety for kids under 10.

  • Concerns for Younger Children: One review explicitly states the park is "Not safe for kids under 10!" warning that "Small children will hurt them self's easily." Issues raised included unsecured areas where small children could easily fall into deep water between or under the mattresses, leading to crying and scared kids.
  • Lifeguard Presence: There are mixed comments on lifeguard presence. One user noted only "one lifeguard on duty which seemed a little light considering the amount of people," but felt there was "nothing that felt dangerous." Conversely, a highly critical review claimed "No lifeguard to help if any accident happens," suggesting the staff member was more focused on ticket checks than active supervision of struggling young children.
  • Age Recommendation: It is generally recommended for children above 10 years old, or for younger children who are strong swimmers and under constant parental supervision, given the challenging nature of the course and varying reports on safety. Life vests are available if needed.

💲 Pricing & Practicalities

Entry to Bloom Waterpark is typically priced by time blocks:

  1. A family of an adult and two kids (ages 7 and 10) paid €30 for two hours.
  2. A family of four could pay €51 for four hours if pre-booked online.

It's worth noting that booking online may offer a 10% discount. One user reported no refunds were offered even when leaving due to safety concerns for young children.

Beyond the waterpark, the location offers additional amenities:

  • Free parking is available, which is a significant plus.
  • Sun loungers on Tsampika beach are available for rent, costing €20 for two loungers for the day.

🙋‍♀️ Service & Atmosphere

Overall, the service and atmosphere at Bloom Waterpark are positively reviewed. Workers are described as "all welcoming" and the service as "commendable." The stunning scenery of Tsampika beach adds significantly to the experience, making it a "wonderful dream" for many visitors.

✅ Conclusion & Recommendation

Bloom Waterpark Watersports offers an undeniably fun and energetic experience, especially for older children, teenagers, and agile adults looking for a physical challenge. The beautiful location on Tsampika beach and clear waters enhance the appeal. If you are considering a visit, particularly with younger children (under 10), it is crucial to be aware of the varying safety perceptions. Strong swimming ability is essential, and close parental supervision is highly advised for younger participants. Ignoring some of the negative reviews regarding general enjoyment seems reasonable for suitable age groups, but carefully consider the safety concerns for very young children.

We had such a fun day at the water park on Agathi Beach in Rhodes! It’s the perfect spot for families, kids, and even adults who want to feel like kids again. The inflatable structures were super fun, safe, and well-maintained – we laughed non-stop jumping, climbing, and sliding into the sea.The staff was very friendly and attentive, making sure everyone was safe while having a great time. The beach itself is beautiful with shallow, clear waters – ideal for kids to play safely.Highly recommended for a day full of fun, laughs, and unforgettable memories with family or friends!

Many handles were missing, seams were partially torn, the trampoline was even dangerously defective so that there was a risk of injury. We were not allowed to wear bathing shoes. However, we could buy bathing socks with nubs from the operator on site. This water park urgently needs maintenance and more care.

It's ok not great. Small children will hurt them self's easily. I would recommend it for children above 10 and just go for one hour. You can book online. That will give a 10% discount.
