As huge cat lovers (we have 7 and volunteer feed a feral cat colony at home in West Yorkshire. UK) we were extremely happy to find this feeding station, but more than that, we haven't yet found a cat that hasn't been spayed/neutered. The simple request on signage to only feed dry biscuits is fully understandable for hygiene reasons since wet food brings flies. All the cats looked healthy and clean and were well-behaved and happy. If only all greek places took such care, there'd be less problems with cats begging in tavernas. Crete take note!

That place is marked with a few posters and bowls for the cats. There was already plenty of dry food and more or less clean water for the cats.Sadly there was only 1 cat there, well they can't be there all the time, can they?We visited between 5-6 pm. Maybe there'll be more cats in the early morning.
