Nestled on the beautiful Rhodes Island, Faethon Miniature Horses Farm is much more than just a tourist attraction; it's a dedicated sanctuary run by the incredibly passionate owner, Stavros. This hidden gem offers a unique and touching experience for visitors of all ages, centered around the conservation of a rare miniature horse breed.
Visitors consistently rave about the opportunity to interact with the farm's beautiful miniature horses. These gentle animals are clearly well-cared for and friendly, eager to be fed by guests. It's a truly hands-on experience where you can get up close and personal, making it particularly delightful for children and animal enthusiasts alike.
The farm's standout feature, as highlighted by numerous reviews, is its owner, Stavros. Described as a "gem," "super friendly," "kind," and "knowledgeable," Stavros's dedication to his animals is palpable. He's not just running a farm; he's on a mission to save these specific miniature horses from extinction, with apparently only a few left available for breeding. Visitors appreciate his warm welcome, his willingness to share stories, and his genuine care for every animal on the premises.

Faethon Miniature Horses Farm is a truly special place that offers more than just a glimpse of unique animals; it provides a connection to a passionate cause and a memorable, interactive experience. Support Stavros and his magnificent miniature horses on your next visit to Rhodes!
Such a friendly team, we took carrots for the horses and had such a lovely time. They don’t charge entry so to contribute we purchased drinks and a couple of souvenirs from the little shop. Highly recommended if you are visiting Rhodes!
❗️They told us that us guests should not bring food for the horses❗️The horses are wild horses rescued from the mountains and are going back someday so they won’t let them get used to be hand feed. Also the fruit and carrots are bad for their stomachs in big amounts because of all the sugar. They feed them with hay.But bring food for the many cats and dogs that’s appreciated 🥰Lovely place and a very passionated owner.
Stavros the owner is a gem of a person who is trying to save these horses from extinction. Apparently there are only 4 left available for breeding. He was super friendly and my kids love hanging out with him. Support him if you are in Rhodes. Bring lots of apples, carrots and cat food.
We were 3 adults and enjoyed ourselves like children😍 amazing peaceful place with kind knowledgeable owner. The horses are kept in good conditions and are so beautiful. You can feed most of them. Highly recommended for those who love animals and a peaceful atmosphere.
This is a project of love to save an endangered especie! Please bring cash to donate, any small amount helps to support this noble cause!Bring cat food (many cats around) but do not bring fruits, the horses are having a especial diet now to heal from skin allergy. Please bring hay or cash to help out! This is not an adventure park, it’s a sanctuary for tiny horses.
