Grand Aquarium

FEATURES
Important Note: The request specifies "Grand Aquarium located in Greece Rhodes Island" and lists its type as "aquarium." However, the provided address (Çamdibi, 245. Sk. No: 2, 48700 Marmaris/Muğla, Türkiye) and the content of the user reviews strongly indicate that the feedback pertains to a hotel or resort located in Marmaris, Turkey, rather than an aquarium in Rhodes. This review is therefore based on the provided user experiences for what appears to be a hospitality establishment, likely a hotel or resort, not an aquatic attraction.
Summary of User Experiences: What the Reviews Describe 🏨
The feedback for this establishment paints a picture of a large hospitality venue, likely a hotel or resort, with varying guest experiences primarily focused on accommodation, staff interaction, and on-site amenities. Guests have highlighted both commendable aspects of service and significant points for improvement regarding comfort and facilities.
Positive Aspects ⭐
Exceptional Staff & Service:
Many guests highly praise the staff, describing them as "awesome," "so good," and "kind." One notable instance includes the reception's honesty and helpfulness in returning lost items, such as AirPods, reinforcing a sense of trust and care.
Spa and Wellness Facilities:
The spa and wellness services are specifically recommended, with users noting that the staff there "do their job as good as possible."
Friendly Atmosphere:
The place is often described as "nice and friendly," contributing to a positive overall sentiment for many visitors, even those just visiting friends on the premises.
Good Value for Money (for a 3-star):
One reviewer, assessing the establishment as a 3-star hotel, found its quality-to-price ratio to be favorable, stating "value for money nothing to say for a 3 star."
Areas for Improvement & Negative Feedback ⚠️
Connectivity and Comfort Costs:
A significant point of contention is the lack of complimentary in-room WiFi, with guests having to pay extra for air conditioning (e.g., "150TL for air conditioning per day"), which is a major drawback for many modern travelers.
Limited Amenity Access:
Access to certain facilities, like the water slide, is restricted to short, specific periods ("twice a day for 45 minutes"), which can be frustrating for guests expecting more flexible use.
Noise Levels:
The environment is described as "very noisy," which can negatively impact guest comfort and relaxation.
In-Room Amenities & Consumption Policy:
Some guests noted the absence of basic amenities like complimentary bottled water in rooms, even in comparison to 2-star establishments. This, coupled with a perceived pressure to consume, particularly during shows, was not well-received.
In conclusion, while the staff and certain services at this establishment receive high marks, potential visitors should be aware of additional costs for essential in-room amenities like WiFi and air conditioning, as well as potential issues with noise and limited access to recreational facilities. Despite these points, for those seeking a friendly atmosphere and good value within a 3-star hotel context, it might be a suitable option, provided expectations are managed regarding specific amenities and charges.
The hotel is awesome, staff is so good,I recommend you the spa and wellness just try it,they do their job as good as possible and
This place is such a nice and friendly place, we went to see a friend and my son dropped his AirPods we only realised when we got home. I phoned the reception and they were so kind they said yes we found them there here with us.
No WiFi in the rooms, pay 150TL for air conditioning per day, slide twice a day for 45 minutes but open, very noisy, full of disrespectful English people.... 1 star was not worth it either.
Quality ratio for a 3 star it is good just a small detail is that there is no bottle of water even in 2 stars there is a small detail in the rooms and it forces one to consume especially during the show but I but like even 4 star because for me value for money nothing to say for a 3 star
