Went here for lunch and some beach time. Such amazing location to have food and drinks. Food was great also. Stunning view and great service. Our rental bike broke down before we wanted to drive back to Faliraki, but shout out to the guy working here for going out of his way to help us (while he was really busy serving in the restaurant). Life saver, Greek hospitality at his best! Efgaristo!!
Such a beautiful place to have lunch. Food, views, atmosphere, service, baby friendliness 10/10Greetings from 🇱🇹
Great place on the Rhodes food map! The owner and stuff are super friendly, always happy to join you at the table for chatting. Perfect food and location. Every time we visit Rhodes, despite staying in different locations on the island, we always go to Grande Blue to have a dinner.
The beach and bar service are barely acceptable. It is highly overcrowded, and after midday, it is impossible to rest under the umbrella's shade because they don't allow you to adjust its position. Umbrellas and sunbeds are too close to each other, compromising privacy. The bar offers literally nothing to eat but toast as a savory snack. Only the natural surroundings and the view make the visit worthwhile, but I'm not sure it's worth the effort under these conditions.
Hard to arrive due to one way road and staff was very rude. We arrived around 17 in group of 3. We wanted to go fast and swim and come back. The staff told us we can't go down the stairs, it's closing. I mean, what is their problem? Why not be friendly to tourists and just let us pass? I see no point of argument to ruin the holidays of tourists that give life to the island. Then we went just around the parking... I just felt for first time on this island that locals were rude and unreasonable. Hopefully the owner of the restaurant, will have a more kind and friendly person to look out the stairs and it will get the 5 stars this place could deserve.
