With the entire family we decided to make a one day trip and visit a few interesting places here on the Rhodes island. And so we rented a car directly at the Marathon representative who's been available here at the hotel we're staying in (Mitsis Rodos Maris).All the formal stuff has been sorted out pretty easily and quickly with a help of the onsite Marathon rep.👍🏻 We got a nice Toyota Yaris hybrid, a pretty good car at a fair price.Only one thing that I was very surprised with was... a level of fuel on the car we rented. I've had several cars at many different car rentals in Europe and in the US, but never ever got a car with a level literally like "a little above a half the fuel tank."🤦🏻‍♂️ How was I supposed to return the car with the same fuel level?!??😂🤦🏻‍♂️ This is, I guess, some Greek standard here, right?😂 But ok, overall we're very satisfied with the service and a car itself too.🚙👍🏻

The staff at the Marathon office is extremely kind, warm and helpful. The woman who serviced us offered a discount on the car, suggested places to visit on the island, where to park and offered to pick us up from the hotel the next day, when we were starting our rental. The prices are far better than the offer in the hotels (we stayed at Lindos Imperial). I highly recommend it!
