What a fantastic holiday! Just got back from a weeks holiday and it exceeded our expectation. It was totally made by the amazing staff both on the mark warner and hotel side. Despite it being near the end of the season they were all full of energy and genuinely made the holiday great. A special shout out to beach team who where a laugh and always happy to help. A special shout out to Chris who ran a fantastic race series over the week and to Archie who was also so cheerful and happy to chat.We mainly took part in the sailing which was always good. The wind is a bit funny in the bay. Some of the boats a bit tired but there is loads on offer so you can always get on the water.The food was nice and each night was something different. But again the staff are what make it. We often got served by Mailena who was great, but we never once had a bad experience.The rooms are nice, a little tired in places but I am sure some winter maintenance will get them back up to scratch.Really hopeful we will be able to return next year and have as good a time.

First time at a Mark Warner. It was great. Staff were brilliant. Good fun and good food. Lots of included activities like sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, cycling, tennis and paddle.

We visited the resort on its opening week in May 2023. The resort had undergone a second phase of refurbishment, but sadly this hadn’t quite completed before guests arrived. This is the reason for the 4 stars. The paddle court, gym and volleyball courts weren’t ready, and much of the external lighting hadn’t been wired. However, there was a huge labour force on site and within 24 hours all the external lighting had been completed and progress was made on the other facilities during the week.The resort and all the facilities including the apartments were kept very clean throughout the week.The local staff (cleaners, bars, reception and restaurant) were very friendly, welcoming and helpful, frequently checking we were happy and had what we needed. Service at breakfast and dinner was excellent.The Mark Warner staff were also excellent. Despite working very long days they were always friendly and professional even if you chatted to them at the bar at the end of the day after they had stopped working. Particular shoutout to Waterfront Instructor Josh who took me through my RYA Level 1 Sailing course over the week - he was knowledgable, good-humoured, friendly, warm and helped me have a great time all week even though the winds were quite absent at points.The restaurant food is fantastic. There is a huge buffet selection at breakfast and dinner. We certainly didn’t go hungry!Overall it was a very memorable experience, and I hope to return next Summer.
