Great display of modern Greek art and a whole 2nd floor devoted to a great artist unknown to us: Valias Semertzidis. Temporary exhibition all in Greek of a local hospital, in the neighbouring new wing.
Very nice and smart Art Museum. The visit takes about 20 minutes, 6€ entrance fee. Some culture before going to the beach.
Unfortunately I saw only 2 pictures. 2nd floor is made by person who does draw, some unfinished basic papers. Absolutely nothing to see. 3rd was closed. Please bring some art or make if for free. Fair price is free.
With one ticket you can visit 3 museums do that is very nice. The ground floor contains letters and edicts regarding the tax that should be paired during ottoman occupation. I didn't knew that some have included the quantity of sponges :).The first floor contains photos of religious practices in different religions, some interesting pieces regarding how the light falls . On the same floor you have pictures regarding the nature destruction, done of them are staged but interesting as composition. The second level contains paintings of Greek islands.
Nice, quiet museum with very good air conditioning and fine art. Friendly staff. In the first floor exhibition you can scan a QR-code next to every portrait, which was very nice and informative. But on the other floors there wasn't that option. Would've give five stars if they'd had QR-codes in other floors as well.
