Nudist Beach Tsambika

FEATURES
Nudist Beach Tsambika, located at Tsampika Beach, Archaggelos 851 02, Greece, stands out as a highly-rated and beloved destination for naturists and beach-goers alike on Rhodes Island. Categorized as a park, point of interest, and establishment, this beautiful stretch of coastline offers a unique and harmonious experience away from the bustling hotel zones.
A Haven for Naturism 🏖️
Visitors consistently praise Tsambika as an "Excellent" and "Beautiful beach", often highlighting its superiority to other nudist areas, such as the one in Faliraki. The naturist enclave is particularly noted on the right end of the beach, providing a dedicated space for those who wish to enjoy the sun and sea in full freedom. The environment is described as "harmonious and beautiful", largely due to the absence of nearby hotels, contributing to a more natural and serene atmosphere.
Key Features and Amenities ✨
Tsambika Beach offers a range of appealing features:
- Stunning Natural Beauty: Expect "fabulous water" and "golden sand", with picturesque rocks nearby. The long stretch of beach is perfect for leisurely walks along the shore, offering "ideal" conditions across its length and surrounding mountains.
- Water Experience: The entry into the water is described as "pleasant and shallow", making it suitable for all swimmers.
- Free Parking: A significant convenience, visitors report "no problems with parking", with ample free spaces available.
- On-Site Services: Deckchairs are available for rent, and there's a small bar on the naturist section. This bar offers a "good selection" of drinks, and the staff are noted for being "very nice".
- Wider Beach Facilities: While the naturist part maintains a more secluded feel, the wider Tsambika beach (the textile part) provides additional amenities further along, including other bars, a shop, and water attractions, catering to diverse preferences.
Points to Note ⚠️
While the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, one reviewer pointed out a specific issue regarding a café near the nudist section. It was described as looking like a "barn, and with a lot of rubbish behind it", yet charging "restaurant prices" (e.g., €5 for a bottle of beer). Despite the remote feel of the area, the reviewer noted that access is generally good, making the high prices for a basic establishment a minor point of contention.
Accessibility 🚌
For those relying on public transport, access can vary:
- There is a bus that goes directly to the beach (displayed as "TSANBIKA BEACH").
- However, this bus runs rarely from Faliraki and takes a large circular route via Kolympia.
- If disembarking at the highway bus stop, expect a 15-20 minute walk to reach the beach.
In conclusion, Nudist Beach Tsambika is consistently rated as a top-tier destination for those seeking a beautiful, natural, and liberating beach experience on Rhodes Island. Its stunning waters, sandy shores, and serene environment, coupled with convenient free parking, make it a highly recommended spot despite a minor critique regarding one on-site cafe's pricing and appearance.
