Rhodes Fun Park, located in Lindos on Rhodes Island, Greece, is marketed as an amusement park and point of interest, primarily serving as an additional amenity for guests of the Princess Lindos hotel. However, based on recent guest reviews, its designation as a "fun park" may set expectations higher than the reality.

What to Expect: Attractions and Opening Hours ⏰

The park typically opens in the evenings, around 7 PM. The range of attractions appears to be limited:

  1. Bouncy Castle: This is a prominent feature, with an entry fee of €5. One review stated this fee allows for non-limited time on the bouncy castle, while another implied it was expensive for a single use, suggesting potential variations or differing interpretations.
  2. Vehicles: This includes attractions like cars, mini trains, and swan boats. These are typically charged on a per-minute basis, often in 2 or 3-minute intervals, costing around €1 per minute.
  3. Water Bumper Cars: These are also available, priced at approximately €3 for a short ride within a limited radius (e.g., 5 meters).

Guests describe the park as having "a bit of a bumper car, a bit of a bouncy castle" rather than a comprehensive amusement park experience.

Pricing and Value for Money 💰

A recurring theme in guest feedback is the cost of the attractions. Many reviewers found the prices to be significantly high and not justified for the limited variety and short duration of the rides. Specific concerns included:

  • The €5 fee for the bouncy castle, perceived as expensive even if it offers unlimited time.
  • The €1 per minute charge for other rides, which quickly adds up for families, especially given the short ride intervals (2-3 minutes).
  • General sentiment that the overall experience does not offer good value for money.

Customer Service Concerns 🗣️

One particularly negative review highlighted significant issues with staff conduct. A guest reported an encounter with a staff member who was described as "really nasty," directly accusing children of not paying, and swearing at the parent for using smaller coins. This isolated but severe incident suggests a lack of professional conduct, which stands in stark contrast to the high standards expected from an associated hotel like Princess Lindos.

Overall Impressions and Recommendations 👎👍

Rhodes Fun Park garners mixed, but generally negative, reviews. While one brief comment simply stated "Nice place," the majority of feedback points to several drawbacks:

  • Limited Scope: It's perceived as a small collection of rides rather than a full "fun park."
  • High Costs: The pay-per-minute structure and initial bouncy castle fee are frequently criticized for being disproportionate to the entertainment offered.
  • Staff Issues: A reported incident of abusive staff behavior significantly detracts from the overall experience.

For guests staying at Princess Lindos, it offers a convenient, albeit expensive, option for a brief evening diversion for children. However, visitors should manage their expectations regarding the size, variety of attractions, and overall value, particularly in light of pricing and reported customer service issues.

It is part of Princess Lindos and meant to be additional fun for kids in resort. It openes 7pm. You pay 5 eur for bouncy castle (non-limited time). Other attraction like cars, mini train or swanboats are charged 1 euro per minute in 2 or 3 minutes intervals. I had issue with the guy in charge who is really nasty, accusing kids (direcly - not parents) for not paying, swearing at me (in Greece, obviously not realising I can understand) for paying in smaller coins. I think this should not be part of otherwise high stardard hotel.

In my opinion the prices are absolutely not justified. I have attached the current prices from May 2024 as a photo.

So when you think of a fun park you imagine something different. A bit of a bumper car, a bit of a bouncy castle...Take a ride and then ciao, nothing more.

Cool bouncy castles and funny vehicles for children, but with a €5 entrance fee for the bouncy castle it's unfortunately too expensive, so you only do it once. Additionally, the vehicles cost €2 for a 2 minute ride in a circle and a water bumper car costs €3 for a ride in a 5 meter radius.
