If you're in Rhodes old town. This is a must see.It may be small but it is MIGHTY. We opted for the tour and it was amazing, and I'm still mind blown by how advanced the ancient Greeks were! The guide was amazing (sadly I didn't catch her name) but she was perfect, and very obviously very passionate about her job and the history itself, and it made the museum so much more interesting!Would honestly recommend it, you'll regret it if you don't!

We found the museum by chance but we were so happy we did! It was interactive, the staff - super helpful, showed us how some of the inventions worked and answered all of our questions. The founder of the museum is a specialist in ancient greek technologies and it shows - all of the exhibits were built specially for the museum and there are videos with actors to show you how they actually work. We bought a book giving details about the inventions seen in the museum plus many others. Totally worth it!

Litle museum created by a scientist that search and reproduce some technical inventions of the greek time. Some inventions are rebuild and explained. The ticket cost 7eur (maybe overpriced). The same museum exists in Athens and is a bit bigger and so better.The most impressive thing is the Antikithera Machine: just incredible: Google it, there’s even movies about it, it’s basically the first computer (100ac)

We stumbled on this museum when exploring Rhodes. It's small but mighty! Lots of mind blowing moments when understanding how much the Greeks developed so early in history. Great little find for 7Euro a person. Estimate needing about an hour for immersion.+ We came with inquisitive 10 & 12 year olds who like science & Marc Rober so they loved it. Might not be interesting for younger kids who can't read or understand explanations.+ The woman working there was so informative and helped us understand what we were looking at.+ I'm a homeschool parent who felt this was 10/10 educationally!

What a great little find. Tucked away on the edge of the walls. Well worth finding. €5 for walk round with no guide or €7 with guide. This is small museum literally what you see is what you get but things In here never knew. This shows the 1st ever alarm clock, early crane design and a automated Greek drink pourer! Fascinating place. The young lady even showed us the magical cup how it works and why it was made (won't ruin it) and showed us some others too. Very polite and very helpful no pressure and can take pictures.
