Taverna "South Castle" is a true little gem, we visited in october 2023. We were heartly welcommed and had the best fresh orange juice, greek and cesar salad and hamburger, everything was freshest, best quality and most delicious. Especially considering the prices, which are surprisingly small, but in comparison the quality of the snacks and food is absolutly superb!! We highly recommend the South Castle Taverna to all visitors in the region, please support the owners, they struggle hard because of the devastating fires this summer. And just again we want to give a "big hearty thank you" to good George, he was serving and caring for us faster than a tsirtaki. We wish you all the best!!

It wasn't easy to find from the road but well worth a look, eat, drink, or stop off. George was great and very efficient with his service; we chatted about football and most notably Newcastle United's two famous Greek players of which he knew rather a large amount each. The food was lovely, the drinks were cold and the glasses were frozen.We sat outside and had a view over the beach, not very expensive at all and good quality.The kids gave this place "5 stars" and the youngest told George this which made him happy.If you're ever in the area I'd suggest finding this place and giving it a go, open until 5 pm each day, and don't be deterred by the slightly abandoned look from the road it's nice when you get close :)
