Located in Marmaris/Muğla, Türkiye, despite occasional confusion with other regions, Çubucak Forest Camp serves as a popular destination for campers, offering a unique blend of nature and essential amenities. Classified as a campground, lodging, park, and point of interest, it aims to provide a comprehensive outdoor experience.
Based on recent guest feedback, Çubucak Forest Camp holds an average rating of 4.0 out of 5 stars. Reviews indicate a largely positive experience for many, especially those seeking extended stays in a natural setting, but highlight some significant areas where the camp falls short, particularly regarding staff interaction and facility maintenance.
Çubucak Forest Camp presents a compelling option for those looking to immerse themselves in nature with the convenience of essential amenities, especially for longer camping trips. Its spacious layout, included electricity, on-site market, and clean sea are significant draws.
However, prospective visitors should be aware of the inconsistencies in facility cleanliness and, more critically, the potential for a less-than-welcoming experience with certain staff members. For self-sufficient campers who prioritize the natural environment and location above all else, and are prepared for potential minor inconveniences in service, Çubucak Forest Camp could still offer a rewarding escape.
This is our third day in here, I will share more my thoughts and experiences with you in my last day here. We still have a week more to go see ya next time 😊Finally, Holliday is over 🙂 feel sad to a left friend behind. Spend 10 days in here was sensational, I wish you would too and I share some pictures and videos enjoy.
Nothing to complain, huge complex, good for long stay. Very close to city and river. Good base for further excursions.
In Çubucak camping, we stayed in our own tent for 6 nights. Overall we were very satisfied. The campground is spacious, clean and tidy. It is well managed by the staff. Electricity is included in the night price and small refrigerators can be rented for a daily fee. It is allowed to use a pedestal barbecue. There is a good market at the campsite. Everything is available, except alcohol. The beach area is narrow and stony, but when you enter the sea, it becomes sand after 5 meters. The sea is very clean. Two minor negatives are the toilets and shower area could be cleaned more carefully and the fridge we rented had 2 broken shelves and was not clean.
Arrived here and asked to stop for 1 or 2 nights and was made to feel like I had ask them for a kidney each! But after some mumbling between themselves they decided to let me in but only if I stayed in the carpark! But after a long and tiring days driving I agreed, only after being instructed off course of how to park my vehicle correctly even though I'd driven approx 5000 km to get here! But anyway the place where we were parked was littered and not very pleasant, in the morning once again the atmosphere was bleak, the men at the gate make you feel like they're on prison patrol particularly the bearded man behind the left side reception desk, having stood waiting for 20 minutes he finally removed my passport from a desk drawer and gave it to another man to give back to me, I can honestly say I wouldn't come back and stay here if they were to pay me!
