Wonderful and inspiring place with lots of minerals and artefacts to see. The owner is super nice and friendly, he told us about the exhibits. Even if you are not into minerals - it will be very interesting.
Wonderful place. Person taking care of this Museum is so interesting. He collected most of the minerals himself. He is also a real treasure of this museum. On the exposition ask him for the discovery of the only skeleton of prehistoric animal found by him in Rodos. Some of the minerals were sent by people from a different parts of our Earth. Minerals and fossils of prehistoric animals are so interesting and really beautiful... do not rush, take a look carefuly... I recommend... 🤗👍🍀💖
Amazing collection and a super friendly and passionate owner. He excavated some things himself and knows everything about the minerals and rocks. Speaks English and Dutch very well, had a great time here! It is free to enter but you can make a donation
A hidden gem. It's a private collection of Polychronis Stamatiadis. It was amazing to see his hard work collecting, cleaning and opening this wonderful collection to the public. Polychronis' knowledge and enthusiasm shone. It was like a private tour through the prehistoric eras filled with anecdotes and joy. We really enjoyed visiting this place.
Very cool little museum with genuine owners who collected the items partly themselves, from across the continent. These beautiful crystals and rocks has to be experienced in reality. There's are also pictures from the excavations here, some tools, and last but not least some fossils ranging from pre history amphibians and dinosaurs, such as the megadolon tooth! This is something special you do not see at other museums. The owners was very nice and friendly who opened up the museum for us when we arrived. After the visit, you are also welcome to take a relaxing drink at the bar/restaurant.
