Stumbled on this after visiting the castle. Tidy little museum with small church and modern ampitheatre. Small entry fee of €1.50, well worth a look round.
Apart from the castle ruins, this is the second object in Asklipio that is worth visiting. A museum and a historic church are located in the very center. It can be seen very nicely from the ruins of the castle.Inside the church there are beautiful frescoes depicting scenes from the Bible. Considering the time of their creation, they are very well preserved. Please note that photography is prohibited in the church. The museum part contains objects and photos from ancient times.Parking is free, entry is paid and children under 12 are free.
Quite a nice museum with a small church. The entrance fee (€1.50) is fair and a short stop is worth it.
More than a museum, it is the church that we come to see first, which houses within it a small museum on local life (mainly agricultural tools). But let's return to this splendid church finely decorated with splendid icons, some of which date from the 18th and 18th centuries and not all of them are in good condition. The visit begins with a room where religious objects and clothing are displayed and then goes to the church itself. For 1€50 don't deprive yourself of this little detour, if you are in the area
Nice little museum with exhibits. Admission €1.50 per person. The church is interesting - the Bible was painted here as picture mosaics for people (who couldn't read).
