The restaurant was so beautiful we went during the day and there was loads of shade from the beautiful vines. The staff were very kind and welcoming and had loads of great recommendations and explications of the foods. We ended up ordering the pork steaks and ribs wich were brought out on a wide platter. The pork steak was the the best pork steak i have ever had the flavours were so juicy and i usually love to have my food with sauces but there wasn’t even any need for sauces because of how juicy the pork was. I would 100% recommend!
"What are you doing here? You should be at the beach!" The owner welcomed us."Yes, but we decided to visit you.""Ooh, bad choice!! :D"But it was a good choice... Lovely local restaurant with perfect service and kind people. We tried young goat with tomato sauce and pork with rosemary, some greek salad, grilled feta with honey (omg!) and pizza for our daughter. Everything was super fresh, goat stew was perfectly flavoured and tender (must have been cooking for a loong time :)), orange juice was legit. The experience was made special with a small detail - we were a little annoyed with hornets, flying over our meals. Help came swiftly from the kitchen, a tray with burning coffee to lure the hornets away. We haven't seen such quick reaction anywhere else - thanks to this we could spend more time here (hornet-free) and have a greek coffee with dessert.Must visit when in the area, if you're looking for a traditional yet not so mainstream restaurant with perfect service.
Great host and exceptional food! Too many tasty dishes, will have to come back some time. Deserves the high rating.
This is a beautiful little village tavern the people that run it and frequent it are extremely friendly. It’s set underneath a tree that provides shade. You will need a car to get there as it’s in the middle of nowhere although there is a church and a small fort you can visit in walking distance from the tavern.
Best food I've had in Rhodes! Fantastic homemade food cooked with love, and a beautiful setting under the grape vines. Feta in honey and Greek salad were my favorite, feta was the freshest I've ever tried.
