The entire area of ​​this small peninsula elevated above Kolymbia beach is a giant viewpoint. The same towards the immense beach to the north, or towards the visible elevations of Turkía in the east where the sun rises at dawn, or to the south where the imposing elevation of Kolymbia Rock dominates the landscape over the beach; all the views are wonderful.And the best thing is that they can be very different from where you look or what time of day you visit. All in a nature that has not yet been invaded by buildings. A gift to the eye and the senses.There are several trails that cross this rock and the entire place is perfectly accessible with little effort. Several benches have been built to sit overlooking the immense sea and beaches.On the other hand, I warn you that there are no barriers to protect you if you are on the edge of a cliff. Common sense must prevail and you must pay attention if you take children.On one of the occasions I was there (July 2023) around dusk I was bitten on my legs by many fly-like insects. They can be annoying, but with long pants you no longer have that problem. At other times of the day I did not suffer from the bites.
